_DSC1105

Goood Evening loves! It has been such a long time since I have sat down and written things down for my blog posts! It feels good to finally be back with a new blog post and getting “back to business!” Work & school have been kickin my butt!! I’ve been baking cakes, learning a new language, and learning how to make 2 new Starbucks Frappuccinos for work. Such a busy couple of weeks!! I thought I would focus this post on spring and the things that I love! I swear, everything looks so much better in the springtime. Right!!

My Crazy, Favorite Starbucks Drinks
I have made some of the most crazy, but delicious drinks at Starbucks and I’m going to share with you one of my favorite drinks to make. The first one is a strawberry acai refresher with no water, with lemonade instead. Oh myyyy! A Strawberry Lemonade Refresher. If you prefer a drink with coffee, try an iced vanilla latte with half n half. It’s amazing 🙂

E.L.F. Eyelash Curler
I paid $2 for the ELF Eyelash Curler. It was my first time trying an eyelash curler and I was not disappointed whats so ever! It took me a couple hours to actually figure out what I was doing but when I finally did I definitely noticed a difference. My eyelashes looked a lot fuller and longerTry one! What is your favorite brand?

Great Lash Maybelline Mascara
My eyelashes looked a lot longer. It definitely added length and made them more noticeable. What is your favorite brand?

Bold Lipstick
I love brightly colored lipsticks! Reds, purples, oranges, & even blues. Sooooo pretty much every color. I love things that pop out!  BareMinerals & Mac have some really fun colors.  What are your favorite brands and colors?

2 Stylish & Warm Outfit Ideas For Winter

Anyone else still full from yesterday? I’ll be eating leftovers of ham & turkey for the next three days. I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Now the countdown for Christmas begins-1 month starting today! Because it is getting a little cooler outside, I thought it would be fun to share with you 2 completely different outfit ideas for winter! Both are warm as well as stylish! So let’s begin…

_dsc0870

For this first outfit, I paired up a Army green jacket (which I believe is a fashion must for this winter) with some cute leggings paired off with some taupe suede booties. These booties are so comfy and fit like a glove. My necklace is a Gorjana Faye Pendant from Rocksbox that can completely transform your outfit from sham to glam. To try Rocksbox for free for one month, no obligations. Click Here & use my code “carriebff142” for a month free.

For the Army Green Jacket, check out stores like Nordstroms, J.Crew, Charlotte Russe. They have many different styles in this awesome color.

It was a little bright outside.. I definitely should have worn my sunglasses…oops!

When taking photos I always look for places that have an interesting scene behind them or have nature involved. To me it makes a picture stand out. Would you rather look at a plain colored background or a background of a beautiful beach? I know I would rather look at the beach! It’s the same for taking pictures-finding a fun & creative background keeps the eyes busy, and you can always find something to be thankful for.

I have a confession to make…I have been spending my whole week off by watching Gilmore Girls with my mom. We’re trying to catch up with the new episodes coming out today! The show is so relatable and super funny! If you have not watched it yet, I recommend it! It’s sort of a quirky show that I guarantee will make you laughing.

It’s time to start bringing out all of those warm uggs! I love the feeling of putting on uggs..they’re so fuzzy wuzzy and warm! Now all I need is some hot cocoa and I’m good for the winter! (Apple watch, MK Backpack)

I love simple outfits! A black t-shirt, with a grey tank top, some blue jeans and uggs and you’re all set!

3 Comfy & Classic Fall Outfit Ideas!

It is finally Friday and I’m so ready to just kick my feet up this weekend and eat some Chinese food. I’ve been loving this fall weather! It’s been nice and cold at night! (I always sleep like a baby when it’s cold. I sleep with about 3 fans.) What are some things that come to mind when you think of fall? Maybe having a pumpkin spice latte or the fact that Halloween is coming. This week is the ninth week of the beauties on fire collaboration. This weeks theme is “Back To School.” In honor of fall, I’m going to show you 3 comfy & classic outfit ideas that you can wear out: to school, a party, or just everyday wear.

” Self-confidence is the best outfit, rock it and own it.”

#1 Classic

I love this shirt I bought from Forever 21. They always have the best deals. I’m always buying t-shirts from there.

I wore this mini backpack to add a bit of contrast in colors in the outfit. This bag is such a beautiful baby blue color!

I also love to pair my t-shirts with a statement jewelry piece. It always makes the outfit pop and show more of a classic & stylish look. I couldn’t possibly forget about the nails! I painted them a neon yellow for a touch of embellishment.

Cutout V-Neck Shirt

#2 Going Out For The Day

For some reason, I love to wear long t-shirts with some type of unique look to them. Like a cutout or a design. This shirt has a small peak out from the back which I think looks so cool & makes this shirt so distinct. I paired this top with a cute “ombre” type scarf.

#3 Casual Day

I’ve been loving the ripped jean trend. It always makes the outfit look more fun & casual. Topped it off with a gray v-neck shirt & made it a casual look.

Of course you gotta add a jewelry piece! I’ve been loving this Lauren Hope Necklace. Such a beautiful purple color.

Classic Never Goes Out Of Style

Today marks the start of the Beauties On Fire Collaboration. I am joined with 25+ amazing fashion and beauty bloggers. Each week there will be a theme where each blogger will have to create a look based on that theme.

Speaking of themes, this weeks theme is “Classic Style.” Now when you think of classic, what’s the first thing that pops into your head???? ….I think of Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and Grace Kelly. Everyone has their own definition and perception of what classic beauty looks like. For the classic style theme, I tried to find things that would go perfectly with it. I hope you enjoy!!

I added this super cute black & white patterned hat. I purchased it from Forever 21. It gives the outfit a more classic and chic look. It also makes a great accessory.

I’m also wearing Ted Baker Black Cat Eye Sunglasses from Nordstrom Rack.

5 Snazzy Ways To Wear Your Jeans/Pants!

Got a bunch of pants or jeans in your closet & have nothing to pair it with? Today on the blog, I’m going to show you 5 different ways to style your pants! So lets get on with it shall we…

Printed Pants: To style my printed pants, I wear something that will make the pants more striking. I wear my white tee that goes perfect with these pants. Adding jewelry like a bracelet or necklace makes this outfit more dressy in my opinion. I decided to add one of the hats I got from Las Vegas with this outfit. I think the pink from the hat also adds a pop of color. Cute & stylish!

Dark Grey/Brown Jeans: Maybe it’s a little chilly out but it still has that nice warm weather outside. Why not wear your pants over your bathing suit. Cute & chic!

_DSC0165.jpg

For a coverup bring a tank-top you can put over your bathing suit.

Light Grey Jeans: Pair your grey jeans with a sheer top & add a tank-top underneath. You’re all set to go! I also love wearing any super bright pink lipstick.

Dark Blue Jeans: For more darker jeans I wore a half top that is knitted. I think it goes perfect with the jeans!

Regular Jeans: How easy! A grey top with some blue jeans & you’re ready to go. You can pair it with a cute hat as well.

Hope you enjoyed! How do you style your pants?
