What To Do When You’re Sick! Tips On How To Feel Better

The flu season has sadly approached us. I have been looking for some good tips/ideas on how to make a couple of days of being sick be way less painful. The worst part for me about a cold is having a sore throat! Blah! But like most things in life, we have to deal with this head on! Being sick sucks! But trying some things to keep your spirit up can make a cold seem faster and more easier to deal with.

Stay Home & Relax

Don’t go out if you feel like crap! Taking a couple of days off won’t hurt! Everything will be there when you get back. There’s nothing worse than going to school or work sick with a runny nose & headache.

Hot Tea:

I did some research on the best tea drink to have while you’re sick and here’s what I found: At Starbucks order a cup with 2 teabags together – Jade Citrus Mint Tea and the Peach Tranquility, ask for half hot water and the other half steamed Lemonade, and then a packet of Honey. Sounds pretty good if you ask me! Maybe you want to make an at home drink, try honey lemon tea..add some ginger, lemon, and honey to some hot water & enjoy!

Netflix Baby!

I know, I know..you don’t feel like spending 2 hours on Netflix just trying to find something decent to watch..that’s why I am sharing a couple of tv shows to watch. Something that can entertain you for a little while!

Chicken Noodle Soup With The Water On The Side:

Soup with saltine crackers always sound like a good idea to me! It’s something simple & light so you don’t feel too full afterwards. Some other snacks/food ideas for when you’re sick might be some type of spicy food, toast, coconut water, oatmeal, avocados, and even some yogurt.

Spa Day

Possibly one of the most important things out of this whole list! Relax! Take a bath, add some candles, bath bombs, a book/magazine, with some music..
