Today marks the second week of the Beauties On Fire Collaboration. This weeks theme is “Summer Style.” If you’re looking for something new & cool to try this summer, you’ve come to the right place! All you need is a few, simple things and you’re all set to create this cool watermelon nail design. Let us begin!

What You Need:
-White Nail Polish
-Red Nail Polish
-Green Nail Polish
-Black Nail Polish

Start by painting your nails white. I added 2 coats to make sure my nails were completely covered with white polish. I let this dry for at least 10-20 minutes before adding different colors to my nails.

Take some red nail polish and paint the bottom of your nail on an angle (diagonal). After that, take some green polish and paint the top of your nail on an angle. Make sure you see the white polish in the middle of the red & green polish. This will give the appearance of “watermelon slices.”

Make sure your nails are completely dry before moving on to the next step. Take some black polish and carefully add dots to the red part of your nail. If you need to, you can use a dotting tool to help create the dots.

I dipped a cotton ball into some nail polish remover and cleaned the edges of my nails so that everything was cleaned up.

  2. Oh my gosh I absolutely adore your watermelon nails! They’re perfect for the summer and you make them seem so simple to create, I totally know mine wouldn’t come out as great as yours have! Regardless, I’m giving these a try for sure, I’d better get to it fast though before summer is well and truly over!
